- We now have Auditions every Saturday at 1pm in our Laguna Niguel location - John Robert Powers January 2010 Class Schedule is now online. We are an Academy for Performing Arts, founded in 1923 by an American actor by the name of John Robert Powers. We offer courses in acting, modeling, and self development. John Robert Powers has had many success stories of students who have achieved stardom, many who are now household names, such as Josh Duhamel of Transformers fame, Brenda Song who stars as London on The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Faith Ford who is currently filming Sorority Wars, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model, Alicia Hall. Our school is specifically located in the heart of Orange County, and to get in, everyone must Audition first! This is to be sure you've got what it takes and that you are serious about making it big in the Entertainment Industry!
